CCLUB ACTTIVITY ON “BATTLE OF BRAINS”

The Department of Mathematics under the Math Club “Mathmagica” organized an engaging and intellectually stimulating Quiz Competition “BATTLE OF BRAINS” on 22th August 2025 for Students of B.Sc. EMCs. bringing together enthusiastic participants who share a passion for problem-solving and logical thinking. The event was designed to test not only the participants' mathematical knowledge but also their speed, accuracy, and teamwork. Participants showcased impressive skills in topics ranging from algebra, geometry, number theory, and probability, to logical reasoning and math-based puzzles. The atmosphere was competitive yet fun, and the event encouraged collaborative learning and healthy competition.
EXPLORING PYTHON: A PRACTICAL APPROACH” WORKSHOP

The Department of Mathematics organized a hands-on training workshop on “Exploring Python: A Practical Approach” on 29th July 2025 for the students of I Sem B.Sc. EMCs. The session was conducted by Dr. Jagadeesh Sai D, Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Information Science, MSRIT, Bengaluru. Python has become one of the most widely used programming languages because of its simplicity, flexibility, and power. From web development and data analysis to artificial intelligence and automation, Python is everywhere. This hands-on workshop is designed to help beginners and enthusiasts get started with Python programming in a guided and interactive environment.
