Orientation on Biocon–Ramaiah Quality Control Analytical (QCA) Training Program

The Biocon–Ramaiah Quality Control Analytical (QCA) Certificate Training Program is one of the flagship initiatives conducted through collaboration between the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, MSRCASC and Biocon Academy.

The program commenced in the year 2019 with Batch–1, and the current academic year marked the launch of Batch–7. The orientation program was conducted at the Biocon Academy.

The inaugural keynote address was delivered by Dr. Pushpa H, Principal, MSRCASC through online mode. Program coordinators Dr. Vasanth K. Bhaskara and Dr. Bharath K. Devendra also joined the session online.

The launch day featured multiple pre-lunch and post-lunch technical sessions. Dr. Vasanth K. Bhaskara conducted an orientation on the Learning Management System (LMS) for the QCA Batch–7 trainees.

The training program spans 8 weeks and concludes in October 2025 with a final summative assessment followed by a job drive for successful trainees.


Best Practice: Graduation Day

The Graduation Day for Biocon–Ramaiah Quality Control Analytical (QCA) Batch–6 and Syngene–Ramaiah Sterile Manufacturing Batch–1 was held on 10th February 2025 at the Biocon Academy Convention Hall.

The chief guest for the occasion was Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Executive Chairperson and Founder of Biocon Academy, along with several eminent industrial and academic professionals.

Dr. Pushpa H, Principal, MSRCASC, accompanied by Dr. Vasanth K. Bhaskara, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Program Coordinator, attended the graduation ceremony.

The event celebrated the successful completion of industry-oriented training programs and highlighted the institution’s commitment to strengthening academia–industry collaboration and enhancing student employability.
