Outreach Activity- Saraswathi Educational Trust,

The Department of MCA organized a meaningful social outreach visit to Saraswathi Educational Trust, an orphanage dedicated to the care and development of underprivileged children, with the aim of offering emotional support and promoting educational growth. MCA students conducted a donation drive, contributing essential stationery items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and other learning materials. They also engaged the children in interactive activities including storytelling, drawing sessions, and educational games, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. A brief yet impactful session on “Good Touch and Bad Touch” was delivered to promote personal safety and awareness among the children in an age-appropriate manner. The visit proved to be enriching for both students and children, fostering empathy, social responsibility, and community engagement. The Department looks forward to continuing such compassionate initiatives that contribute positively to society.

The Department of MCA organized an outreach program on 21 November 2025 at PVP Government High School, Bengaluru, coordinated by Dr. Safira Begum along with senior supervisors and student volunteers. The initiative aimed to promote holistic development among school children through sessions on social manners, general knowledge enhancement, interactive games, and a special awareness program on menstrual hygiene for adolescent girls. Activities such as value-based interactions, quizzes, debates, and group games encouraged students to develop confidence, teamwork, empathy, and critical thinking. The menstrual hygiene session played a vital role in educating girls on proper hygiene practices, breaking stigma, and promoting health and dignity. The enthusiastic participation of the students, coupled with the dedication of MCA volunteers, made the program highly impactful. This outreach strengthened the values of social responsibility and community engagement among our students while enriching the learning experience of the school children. The Department remains committed to continuing such initiatives that foster positive social change and contribute to holistic education.
