Founded on the vision of Dr. M.S. Ramaiah, a pioneering philanthropist, Ramaiah College is a cornerstone of the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF), which was established in 1962 to advance education and healthcare. Since 1994, Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce (MSRCASC) has embodied his mission, fostering a vibrant community of learning. Now an autonomous institution affiliated with Bengaluru City University and accredited with an "A" grade by NAAC, the college offers a transformative education that prepares students for a dynamic future.
Ranked 87th by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2024, the college is recognized as one of Karnataka's premier institutions. It has received prestigious designations such as the DBT-STAR College by India’s Ministry of Science and Technology and has established a Research Center for biotechnology innovation. Embracing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, MSRCASC now offers a robust array of undergraduate and postgraduate honors programs across the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management, serving over 2,900 students.
