Programme Overview

The M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry at M S Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce-Autonomous is a two-year postgraduate programme designed to provide an advanced understanding of organic molecules, their structure, reactivity, synthesis, and applications. The curriculum integrates theoretical concepts with practical laboratory training in areas such as synthetic chemistry, spectroscopic techniques, green chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and polymer chemistry. The programme equips graduates with strong analytical skills and scientific problem-solving capabilities, preparing them for careers in research, industry, and academia.

Eligibility

• Graduates who have secured 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects and 50% marks in Chemistry (cognate subject), and have studied Mathematics at least at the 10+2 / PUC level, are eligible.
