Programme Overview

The Department of Humanities offers two combinations of undergraduate programmes in Psychology, Journalism and Optional English (PsJOe) and Political Science, Journalism and Optional English (PJOe). The Political Science, Journalism and Optional English (PJOe)programmes introduce students’ theory and practice of Political Science and International Relations. It helps to acquaint and analyse contemporary developments and political science concepts like power, equality, authority, and governance. Studying and discussing the key questions that confront academics and practitioners can help students become better citizens while enhancing their analytical and communication skills. The experienced faculty of the department create several opportunities for the students to explore the wide array of issues that arise in politics today and help students hone their skills of enquiry and research.
The Department is providing the most prominent courses such as Psychology, Journalism, Political Science, Optional English. Therefore, department has become well known for its in-depth multidisciplinary approach, experienced and highly qualified faculty and the range of curricular and co-curricular programmes.
