Value Added Program (VAP) on Power BI

The Department of BBA successfully organized a Value Added Program (VAP) on Power BI from 03rd March 2026 to 11th March 2026 for the students of BBA 4th Semester (2024–27 Batch). The primary objective of the program was to equip students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in data visualization and business analytics using Power BI, an essential tool in today’s data-driven business environment.

The sessions were conducted by experienced corporate trainers, Mr. Rakshith S, Mr. Vignesh, and Mr. Yuvaraj T from the Edify Institute of Computers, Bangalore. The resource persons provided in-depth insights into Power BI concepts including data importing, data transformation, dashboard creation, report generation, and real-time data analysis.

The program was designed to be highly interactive and practical-oriented. Students actively participated in hands-on sessions where they worked on live datasets and developed visually appealing dashboards. The trainers emphasized the application of Power BI in real-world business scenarios, enabling students to understand how data can be transformed into meaningful insights for decision-making.

Throughout the program, students enhanced their analytical thinking, technical skills, and understanding of business intelligence tools. The training also helped bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, thereby improving students’ employability skills.

The program was effectively coordinated by Mrs. Harshitha M, Mr. Dimple Rajpurohit, and Mrs. Ramya R, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of all sessions.

Overall, the Value Added Program on Power BI was a great success, providing students with valuable exposure to modern analytical tools and preparing them for future career opportunities in the field of business analytics.

Value Added Program (VAP) on MS Excel using AI Tools

The Department of BBA organized a Value Added Program (VAP) on MS Excel using AI Tools from 28th April 2025 to 16th May 2025, followed by the assessment conducted on 4th and 5th June 2025. The program was designed for the students of BBA 2nd Semester (2024–27 Batch) to enhance their technical and analytical skills.

The primary objective of the program was to provide students with practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel integrated with Artificial Intelligence tools. The sessions focused on advanced Excel functionalities such as data analysis, pivot tables, dashboards, automation techniques, and AI-powered features for efficient data handling and decision-making.

The sessions were conducted by experienced corporate trainers, Mr. Rakshith S, Mr. Vignesh, and Mr. Yuvaraj T from the Edify Institute of Computers, Bangalore. The resource persons delivered in-depth training with real-time examples, enabling students to understand the practical applications of Excel and AI tools in business scenarios.

The program was highly interactive and hands-on, where students worked on live datasets and explored AI-based tools for data cleaning, report generation, and predictive analysis. This helped students improve their efficiency, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

An examination was conducted on 4th and 5th June 2025 to evaluate the students’ understanding and practical knowledge gained during the program.

The program was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Harshitha M and Mr. Dimple Rajpurohit, ensuring smooth execution and active participation from all students.
