Seminar on Global Certifications: Pathway to a Successful IT Career

The Department of Computer Applications (BCA), organized a seminar on “Global Certifications: Pathway to a Successful IT Career” on 25 August 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sri Vishweshwaraiah Auditorium. The seminar was conducted to create awareness among students about globally recognized professional certifications and their importance in building industry-relevant skills and successful IT careers. Mr. Mohammed Tousif, Founder & CEO, Cynux Era, was the resource person and shared valuable insights on professional certifications, career opportunities, and the skills required to meet current IT industry expectations. The seminar was informative and beneficial, motivating students to pursue continuous learning and professional certifications for better career opportunities in the IT sector.
National Technology Day – Project Expo 2026

The Project Expo provided a platform for students to showcase innovative and technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. The event encouraged creativity, research, problem-solving, and awareness of emerging technologies. Students presented projects covering areas such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, web and mobile applications, automation, and smart systems. The expo promoted sustainable and socially impactful technological solutions. Participants demonstrated their technical knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and practical skills through project presentations. Faculty members, mentors, and expert judges evaluated the projects based on innovation, usability, and social impact. Interactive sessions enabled students to receive valuable feedback and guidance from experts. The event enhanced students’ technical knowledge, presentation skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities. It encouraged students to explore future-ready technologies, research opportunities, and entrepreneurial ideas. Overall, the Project Expo created an engaging learning environment that inspired students toward innovation and sustainable development.
