Program specific outcome
Optional English
1.The magnificence of British Literature has had students spell bound thus inspiring them to read and create.
2. It has helped them to refine their LSRW skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading skills)
3. British and American Literatures have helped them identify and validate emotions experienced by themselves with others' thoughts and feelings.
4. With Colonial reading, the mental horizon of students has broadened and they have come to understand people different from our culture and lifestyle.
5. Areas like Partition Literature has made students sensitive to the whole spectrum of human experience thus impacting their day-to-day decision making.
Psychology
1. To prepare students in the field as either a clinical or research practitioner, train them as psychometrician in assessing different psychological domains.
2.To prepare them in dealing with everyday life.
3. To prepare and develop students to inculcate practical knowledge through internships.
4. To prepare and channelize them to be ethical and socially responsible in dealing with human behavior.
Journalism
1. Students will be prepared for entry-level positions as professionals within journalism and related fields.
2.Intends to make the students ready for a career in print journalism/broadcast journalism and related areas.
3. Orient students in the broad spectrum of journalism and mass communication
4. Helps the students to gain knowledge from the subject experts practically.
Political science
1. Demonstrate theoretical knowledge to analyze social, political, and economic developments/policies and to critically understand the social phenomena that influence everybody’s life.
2. Understand international institutions, foreign policy, treaties, and key theories. Additionally, analyze and apply various theories of international politics and relations to global events, providing solutions to contemporary international issues.
3.Develop an understanding of fundamental research concepts in political science, enabling familiarity with both scientific and popular writing.
4. Apply acquired knowledge to competitive civil service examinations while cultivating the ability for independent and lifelong learning in the broader context of technological change.
5.Prepares and empowers students for higher education, careers in research centers, and, most importantly, to become responsible citizens.
