National Conference in Psychology

II Year degree students from the Department of Humanities (Psychology) actively participated in a National Conference held at Christ College, Mysuru, on 4th March 2026. The event provided a valuable platform to showcase their research skills. Pooja M and Chinmai S. U presented on parental styles among first-born and later-born children. Next, Bhumi Bakshi presented paper on happiness among first-time mothers. Bhumi Bakshi and Ananya Acharya also presented on emotional maturity among undergraduates. The experience enhanced students’ confidence, research exposure, and critical thinking, while encouraging them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in psychology.
